Regional Tracking Center for Sector 2 Named
The contracts have been signed to locate the Regional Tracking Center for Sector 2 in the ancient city of Mary, Turkmenistan.
Sector 2 covers all of Asia and the Middle East.
Scouts in Flight Command say the selection process was tough this year in Sector 2 due to a variety of factors. Civil unrest, extreme weather conditions and natural disaster recovery all played a part in finding a suitable location.
The city of Mary, which is the capitol in a region of the same name in Turkmenistan, is a fairly large city for a Regional Tracking Center. Mary dates back more than 2500 years in its history.
Due to the city’s size and central location within Asia is was easy to find a location with all the modern amenities needed for a Regional Tracking Center.
It is anticipated that this center will be operational by August 5th.

Thank you, Elf Meg Nogg. Congratulations to Mary City! It looks like an exciting and historic city. And the sky looks wider, so think that they can look far away and be easier to communicate with other elves smoothly. I’m curious about how many tracker elves there are, and they’re excited to start the operation! Of course, me too, lol. Thank you, and Merry Christmas!
