Bedtime advisories are issued by Santa. They only come after he has launched from the North Pole. They are an indicator that Santa is close by and he is encouraging believers to head to bed soon.
It is an advisory – not a command. Santa is well aware that customs vary from country-to-country and that sometimes family Christmas events can go long into the night.
Santa does not want to interfere with those plans. If you see the bedtime advisory for your area and you need Santa to come later, please submit a bedtime delay notification to Santa and he will accommodate you.
Do not worry if you do not see your town, city, village or neighborhood specifically listed in the advisory. The bedtime advisories generally follow Santa’s flight path by time zone. If you see an adjacent city or other locations within your time zone you can assume that Santa is coming to your specific area soon.
