Help Feed the Reindeer
Reindeer and their needs is on the minds of leadership in Flight Command. As we reported last week more than 22,000 reindeer are now working Operation Air Lift and they will continue flying until the job is done sometime on Christmas Eve.
A lot more reindeer could to joining them soon.
Flight Command is receiving, via working tracker elves at SantaTrackers.net, more sleigh sighting reports than any other time in history.
With all this proven activity it has occurred to Flight Command we might have some needs for the reindeer that are going unmet at this time.
Maybe you can help.
Reindeer require good food for energy. Good food would be things like oats and other grains – and fruits and vegetables, such as apples, berries, carrots and cucumbers.
Reindeer also require a lot of water.
If you can, we ask that you please leave out fresh water and sliced fruits and vegetables, even in small quantities, for North Pole reindeer who are working so hard right now.
We remind you that treats are not for reindeer. Please do not leave them candy canes, Christmas cookies or other treats you might eat yourselves. The reindeer cannot have those things because their tummies are sensitive to them.
We appreciate your help in taking care of Santa’s reindeer as they work to help Santa deliver.
Thank you for your attention to this.
