15000 Reindeer Activated
The Reindeer Operations Department is delivering another 15000 reindeer to work under the direction of North Pole Flight Command and they will begin their missions today.
This more than doubles the number of sleighs, pilots and reindeer operating at the North Pole Sleigh Port, easily surpassing all records for flight activity at this date on the calendar.
It was announced yesterday that Santa’s workshop is still about three weeks behind schedule with Santa’s launch now less than 2 weeks away. The situation is becoming urgent.
While adding reindeer and sleighs does not lighten the burden on Santa’s workshop it does significantly reduce the amount of completed toys, gifts, presents and surprises piled up at the North Pole.
Last Christmas Santa used a total of 60,000 reindeer starting after he launched on Christmas Eve. That’s normal. So for the effort to now top 22,000 reindeer on the 12th of December is quite extraordinary.
