Backup Reindeer Team Named
The saga of the back-up team of reindeer serving Santa this Christmas Eve just took a new twist as those reindeer have now been nominated and named by Santa for service. They are:
Pokey, Thor, Trixie, The Mighty Mick, Hecules, Flash, Dash, Cash, and Mash.
The backup team of reindeer have a lonely and unheralded duty. Their job is to be ready to jump into service at a moment’s notice – but they know the odds of them actually being pressed into service are very slim.
It has been many, many years since the backup team of reindeer have been used in any way. Most years they sit in isolation at the North Pole in a pen meant to keep them away from sickness and injury – watching the news of Santa’s ride continue without their participation.
Some of the reindeer mentioned above are known but many are unknown to the public, especially if they haven’t gained a reputation at the Annual Reindeer Games.
Nevertheless these reindeer represent the best the world have to offer. To make the backup team they absolutely have to be at the top of their field.
