Troubles for the Test Flights

After more than a week of preliminary test flights of Santa’s new sleigh design there are rumors of troubles.

Flight data looks rough. The sleigh has not performed well with landings especially. Flight engineers are working to diagnose the issues.

Flight planners at North Pole Flight Command indicate that while there are issues there is no need to stop the test flights or to delay the schedule.

In response to the adjustments engineers are making they have reduced the number of reindeer per sleigh to just teams of four reindeer.

But they have increased the number of sleighs in flights. They are now utilizing all 32 new sleighs that Santa ordered. Flights have also been reduced in time so that more landings can be evaluated and the schedule has been adjusted to conduct those flights around the clock.

Flights will remain over the North Pole for at least the next few weeks.

While the results have been disappointing nobody in Flight Command is giving any indication that the sleigh needs significant adjustments in either design or to the test flight schedule.
