Version #6 of Santa’s Sleigh Ordered
A new version of Santa’s sleigh – and likely the last version of this season – has been ordered to deploy to Sector 5 for testing. The latest version of the sleigh will begin test flights on December 10th.
A press conference was held today at North Pole Flight Command about Santa’s sleigh. It was revealed that test flights of the sleigh will likely end sometime next week, well in advance of Christmas.
Flight engineers are very pleased with the test flights, which have been conducted since June of 2025 in various places around the world. The final series of test flights will be over Sector 5 and we are told there are specialized tests for the sleigh over Sector 5 for a reason.
Several features of Santa’s sleigh for Christmas 2025 were discussed in today’s news conference:
- Santa’s sleigh features instant messaging technology that allows Santa to issue bedtime advisories direct from the sleigh that show up on official North Pole websites
- Advanced thermal technology keeps the sleigh constantly at 68 degrees, just as Santa likes it, in any kind of weather
- Wireless technology now allows all health monitoring information gathered by Santa’s suit to instantly download to North Pole computers each time Santa steps into the sleigh
- Santa can fly the sleigh standing up or sitting down thanks to memory-foam padded seats that automatically adjust to Santa when he gets into the sleigh
- An onboard refreshment center can dispense water, hot cocoa, eggnog, wassail, milk or 7 different kinds of soda on demand at supersonic speeds. It is reported to be the most advanced soda fountain in the world.
- Santa’s sleigh could be flown entirely by voice command if Santa chooses, allowing him hands-free flying that will give him the ability to do other things (such as stuff stockings).
- Information from the Santa Map at SantaTrackers.net arrives on Santa’s sleigh in real time.
We will keep you posted on when Santa’s sleigh will be returning home for good.
