Bedtime Management

Christmas Eve bedtimes are a very important topic for all believers, all parents – and even for Santa.

To ensure efficient delivery, which is the job of North Pole Flight Command, we operate what we call the Bedtime Advisory Desk. Their sole job is to communicate bedtime advisories. They do this through this special page here at NorthPoleFlightCommand.com and via North Pole Radio News updates broadcast during the Tracking Santa Around the World Radio Show heard here and on other Official North Pole websites.

Santa issues the bedtime advisories while he is in flight – directly from his sleigh. Only Santa knows where he is delivering to soon, so he will send out an advisory to believers to let them know he is on the way.

Please note that this is just an advisory. It is not a command from Santa.

Santa is well aware that customs vary from country-to-country and that sometimes family Christmas events can go long into the night.

Santa does not want to interfere with those plans. If you see the bedtime advisory for your area and you need Santa to come later, please submit a bedtime delay notification to Santa and he will accommodate you.

Bedtime advisories are also very important information for Santa trackers. Tracker elves who track Santa for Santa are expected to follow the bedtime advisories Santa issues.

As a general rule, bedtime advisories arrive generally between 8pm and 10pm local time. When Santa issues the advisory for your area he does not mean you need to go to bed that very minute. He’s just advising that he is close by and will be delivering to your area soon.

Santa’s actual delivery times can vary but they usually fall between the hours of 10pm and 2am local time.
