100 Days to Launch
Santa launches in 100-days and that is a big milestone for the team at North Pole Flight Command.
We are quickly reaching a decision on whether or not the new design of Santa’s sleigh will be viable for this year’s Christmas journey. The sleigh performed much better last week and many are encouraged by that good news. But the question remains whether enough time is given to fully make the sleigh ready for delivery.
Contingency plans for using last year’s sleigh or another model sleigh are being drawn up. While that is not the outcome we are looking for we need to be prepared for that possibility. If we get just a few days away from launch and the new sleigh is not hitting the right benchmarks, adjustments will need to be made.
Meanwhile, plans are also advancing for Operation Airlift. Flight Planners are meeting this week with officials from the North Pole Navy and the Logisitics Department to finalize warehouse spaces and delivery strategies. Those plans should all be in place by the end of October.
We will keep you updated.
