Santa Launches in 24 Hours
The countdown clock in Flight Command has switched from days to hours now. In less than 24 hours Santa is scheduled to launch from the North Pole.
While a lot of things are already in motion – Operation Air Lift, for example – a great many things will happen before Santa leaves the North Pole.
The radio broadcast of Tracking Santa Around the World begins in just a few hours. It will tell the story of Santa with updates at least twice per hour.
Shortly after that broadcast begins, the final test flight of Santa’s sleigh will take off. How long it will be airborne is not known but the purpose of the flight is to make the sleigh completely ready for Santa.
Several other meaningful events will take place before Santa’s launch. The polishing of the sleigh bells, the final review of Santa’s reindeer, and the naming of Santa’s sleigh are all traditional events before Santa leaves.
Please standby for further updates.
