Fanny Takes Over the Test Flights
Version #6 of Santa’s sleigh has arrived in Sector 3. Code named Fanny, the new sleigh is being put into service and flown by both Santa and Mrs. Claus who are there this week as part of the test pilot team.
Engineers at Flight Command have been less vocal in their criticism of the new sleigh, reporting that “recent test flights have been productive” and that good progress is now being made in the sleigh’s development.
Even still, a record number of 72 test flight sleighs were built and test pilot teams are struggling to fill the flight calendar, lacking both pilots and reindeer to run a full test flight schedule.
Flight planners are not yet concerned and are working with both Reindeer Operations and the Pilots Union to work out the details.
Specialists are looking forward to the calendar later next month when the Reindeer Games are scheduled as a period when filling the test flight schedule will be really challenging.
