More Sleighs Completed

During Christmas in July Santa announced the need for 3500 new sleighs to support Operation Airlift. The Sleigh Department today delivered another 800 of those sleighs today, making 2450 sleighs built of the 3500 needed.

The sleighs are of a design that matches the radical new sleigh design being tested for Santa right now.

Since that time the Sleigh Department has scrambled to build the sleighs, even borrowing craftsmen from Santa’s workshop to help with the project.

Additionally, the Reindeer Operations Department has been recruiting and training 5000 new reindeer to power those sleighs when Operation Airlift launches just before Santa takes off in December.

It looks like the Sleigh Department will meet their goal. The questions surrounding the entire project are whether or not Santa’s new sleigh will be ready at that time.
