Regional Tracking Center Announced for Sector 2
North Pole Flight Command is excited to announce the first regional tracking center for Christmas 2025 will be located in Christmas Island, Myanmar.
This is the first time in history that a regional tracking center has been located in Myanmar.
Myanmar is a centrally located country within Sector 2, which covers all of Asia and the Middle East. It is an ideal location for sleigh flight operations and support for this area.
Christmas Island is located on the south western coast of Myanmar in the Anadman Sea. It is a remote location with few inhabitants.
Elves from North Pole Flight Command, the Sleigh Department and Santa’s Workshop have been in Myanmar for two months remodeling a small commercial building and upgrading electrical and network systems.
The new Regional Tracking Center headed by Elf Clif Moyer will begin staffing transfers immediately with a target opening date of July 15th (it may be earlier).
Santa has set August 1st on the calendar as the date that all regional centers need to be operational.
