Report Suggests More Tracker Elves Are Needed
The Department of Redundancy Department filed a report with North Pole Flight Command today suggesting that more tracker elves are needed to track Santa for Santa this year.
The report comes as a big surprise because the Tracking Department’s own accounting suggests that recruitment numbers for new tracker elves are at an all-time high and that the early reporting level of existing trackers is better than ever.
“The issue is not that current levels are insufficient this year compared to last year”, the report said. “The issue is that conditions this year with the Crisis in Santa’s workshop has made this an abnormal year.”
Elf Roger Star, director of North Pole Flight Command, believes the report needs careful consideration. He is planning a conference call with Santa late tonight to discuss the findings of the report.
“We note with confidence that the work in Santa’s workshop has progressed significantly the past two months,” Elf Roger said. “But we know the next three weeks are critical and we are confident that conditions even upon the hour of Santa’s launch may look very different this year. We are going to give this report serious consideration and take action after getting Santa’s thoughts on the matter.”
This is a breaking news story. We will follow up as we learn more.
