Test Flights Begin Shrouded in Secrecy

Test Flights

Test flights of Santa’s new sleigh have started but there seems to be a very high level of security over the project that we have not seen in years past.

We usually have a good idea of what the sleigh looks like and we use the Santa tracking map from North Pole Flight Command to follow it’s flight progress.

None of that is available to us yet and we’re having a difficult time finding out why.

Elf Roger Star, Director of North Pole Flight Command, issued a statement when North Pole Radio News asked for an update. This is what it said:

“Santa’s sleigh has started test flights on schedule. The flights will be over artic skies for the foreseeable future. When we have further news to share, we will share it.”

In the latest North Pole Podcast, Elf Crash Murphy, International Head of Santa Trackers, refused to take any questions about Santa’s new sleigh.

As I attempted to get more information about Santa’s sleigh for this year I found the Sleigh Barn completely empty. All elves working on the new design are either on vacation or “out of town”.

There is only a small team at North Pole Flight Command and they are sequestered in a secure facility that is inaccessible to all elves except those who are authorized.

I also checked in with the North Pole Navy because they usually support test flight operations. All of their ships are docked at the North Pole and they report they have not received orders to deploy yet.

It is still early in the season but all of this is highly unusual.

We will continue to pursue the story of Santa’s new sleigh and why it is suddenly a top secret project.
