Stocking Mail Upgrade Tested

Stocking Mail

Stocking mail is getting an upgrade test in the coming days. This is a closed test being conducted between the North Pole Post Office and remote facilities run at the South Pole.

Stocking mail has been a fixture of Christmas Eve postal services at the North Pole for many years. Most do not realize that it is still an emerging technology.

On Christmas Eve every year Santa authorizes the use of stocking mail when it becomes apparent that last minute messages through normal means are no longer able to reach him before he delivers. Stocking mail extends the window by which believers can message Santa, even while he is on his sleigh.

It works like this: using a normal, everyday Christmas stocking a believer can write out a message, or even create a drawing, place it in their stocking and it will go via the North Pole Post Office electronically to Santa.

It requires no electrical power, no Internet, no scanning and no means of mechanical transmission.

The only user requirements are that they must wait until Santa authorizes it’s use and they must believe in Santa in order for it to work.

The secrets behind the technology remain classified, for obvious reasons. And because the technology is still under development, it requires special authorization from Santa to use it.

We will update you on results of the upgrade test when they become available.
