Trackers Urged to Get Sleep
Santa trackers are highly encouraged to get sleep, according to Elf Z, Associate Director of Santa Trackers.
Elf Z and others are predicting “the most intense Christmas Eve ever for Santa trackers tracking Santa for Santa”.
The crisis in Santa’s workshop has created a firestorm of sleigh activity at the North Pole. Since the first week of December sleigh after sleigh have been launched at the North Pole Sleigh Port in the earliest launch of Operation Airlift in history.
That same effort continues even as Santa prepares to launch his own sleigh. Tens of thousands of reindeer have already been activated and some analysts are saying up to 100,000 reindeer could be in the air on Christmas Eve in addition to those that pull Santa’s sleigh.
Last year, by comparison, only 60,000 reindeer were used at the peak delivery hours after Santa’s launch. There could easily be that many airborne before Santa ever takes off this year.
That means the probability of a sleigh being sighted this year almost anywhere in the world is very high.
With that many sleighs aloft, more eyes are needed on the skies to report the weather and other information that will be useful for Santa himself.
So trackers are being asked to get rest now before things get crazy in the next 48- to 72 hours.
