Santa Tracker Map Activated
North Pole Flight Command confirms that the test flights of Santa’s sleigh have now left the North Pole and are active now in the skies of Sector 4.
As previously announced, the planned flights shifted from Sector 1 to Sector 4 due to active weather in the Pacific. At present, the test flights are over Greenland.
“We will be tracking south over the Atlantic for the next few days before heading into South America, where we have some winter conditions,” said Elf Buck Sanchez, Flight Director at the North Pole. “I think we’ll be in South America for a few days once we get there. We have to remember there’s a fleet of 32 sleighs up there, not the usual 12 that we had last year. It makes for slower overall movement, but it greatly improves the chances of seeing a sleigh in flight.”
For trackers there are two places where the Santa Tracker Map is accessible – for tracker elves at SantaTrackers.net and for members of the North Pole Club at SantaUpdate.com.
