Santa Orders Build for Amelia

Santa Orders New Sleigh

The official order from Santa for the build of Amelia – the named first version of his all new sleigh – has been issued and it is taking sleigh builders in the Sleigh Department by surprise.

Santa has ordered 32 sleighs as part of this first build. That’s very unusual. Last year the standing order was for 12 of each version being tested.

Since the build order is so large, supervisors in the Sleigh Department have sent a request to Santa’s workshop for help. Elf Bernard will be sending an expert team of craftsmen over to the Sleigh Department to complete the order.

The Sleigh Department has also sent an advisory to the Reindeer Operations Department and to North Pole Flight Command. If Santa wants these many sleighs built they are going to need additional resources from Reindeer Operations and Flight Command to put them in the air.

We have sent questions in to those two departments but have yet to hear back what this large number of sleighs means for the test flights – which are set to being in just over a week.
