Version #6 of Santa's Sleigh

North Pole Flight Command today confirmed that Santa has authorized the 6th version of Santa’s sleigh to be built.

The new version, code named Fanny, will include significant improvements to rear load mechanisms for sleigh-to-sleigh transfers, a shift in the windshield profile to improve resistance performance, a software upgrade for onboard lighting systems, and a new testing parameter for upgraded silent sleigh bell technologies.

Some of these improvements have been months in the making.

“None of these changes are going to individually impact the speed performance issues we’ve been seeing all summer,” said Elf Major Barnes. “But collectively we could see a slight improvement. The development pipeline is working on some additional improvements but they won’t be ready to install until a later version, I’m guessing around the end of October.”

The Sleigh Department will need at least a week to produce this new version.
