Bedtime Advisory Desk Opens
The Bedtime Advisory desk at North Pole Flight Command is now officially opened. It is a sure sign that Santa’s launch in on schedule and will be happening soon.
Why is the Bedtime Advisory desk open days before Santa’s launch?
Bedtime Advisories are issued directly by Santa from his sleigh after he leaves the North Pole. They generally are posted between 8pm and 10pm local time. Bedtime Advisories are publicized on Kringle Radio via North Pole Radio News on the Tracking Santa Around the World live radio broadcast by Elf Victoria Wassail, the head of the Bedtime Advisory desk.
We will also be publishing the advisories right here on NorthPoleFlightCommand.com — click here to see the Bedtime Advisory page.
Bedtime Advisories are sent as a courtesy. Since Santa cannot deliver until an entire household is in bed and asleep he sends out the bedtime advisories to let people know he is close to arriving.
On occasion, families might be still celebrating the Christmas Eve activities and traditions when Santa’s bedtime advisory arrives. Santa does NOT want to disrupt important family time and traditions. For this reason we introduce a new capability this year for you: you can send Santa a bedtime delay notification.
While Santa is in flight, you can send the notification and it will arrive to the dashboard on his sleigh – much like a text. Between now and launch time, you can also send a delay notification that will be handled by North Pole Flight Command and added to Santa’s flight plan. So if you need Santa to arrive at your home at a later hour you now have a way to send him that information.
Bedtime Advisories are a big thing every Christmas Eve. Millions visit us just to find out when Santa wants them in bed. We hope this new process allows you to feel more confident of when Santa will arrive at your home.

Thank you, Elf Meg! Last year, the bedtime advisory in my country was 7:30 p.m., and I was having dinner then. I learned Santa visited here over three and a half hours after the announcement. We have enough time to go to bed. The bedtime delay notification is a great idea! It makes people and Santa feel relieved. Santa is so kind, but it means that he will move here and there so fast. I hope Santa delivers smoothly and safely. Merry Christmas! XD
I love that we have this advisory. I have to admit that it’s always hard for me to go to bed on Christmas Eve because I’m just so excited. This year as a tracker elf for Santa I’ll be ready for bed knowing I’ve done everything I could do to help Santa have a safe flight in my sector. Merry Christmas
