One Final Test Flight Left
The last of the test flight pilot teams return to the North Pole today. As we announced yesterday, all of those pilots and reindeer have been recalled.
The good news is that Santa’s sleigh is ready. It has been thoroughly tested since last June and engineers are confident it will serve Santa well this year.
There will be ONE more final test flight, tentatively scheduled for Monday, December 23. It will be flown around the world one last time before the sleigh is turned over to Santa later than evening before his scheduled launch.
Weather is still a HUGE concern at the North Pole but the launch of Santa’s sleigh will not be affected regardless of the weather. Santa launches in blizzard conditions nearly every Christmas Eve. He is the foremost sleigh pilot in the world powered by the best reindeer in the world. There are no worries for Santa’s launch.
We will keep you updated.

Thank you, Elf Meg! And thank you so much to the pilots and reindeer! I am proud of them for their amazing job! I’m glad to hear that! Yes, I believe that Santa and his A-Team reindeer will go well, and Operation Airlift sleighs as well. I always pray for their smooth work and safety. And I’ll do my best as an elf, too! Merry Christmas! XD
Congratulations to everyone and the reindeer on a great job. Merry Christmas 🎄
