First Regional Tracking Center Opens

Sector 1

Elf Randi Hume, Elf Supervisor in Sector 1, reported to her team from her new office at the Regional Tracking Center in Kiribati that they are now completely operational.

“We’re open for business! Sector 1 is #1 again!,” Elf Randi declared. “I’m told that our timing is pretty good because the first test flights away from the North Pole this year are headed our way. I’m sure North Pole Flight Command will be announcing that soon.”

Elf Randi made that statement before the announcement was made that the first test flights of Santa’s Sleigh will take place in Sector 4. A last minute change of plans was made due to active weather issues in the Pacific.

“Our little fleet of North Pole Naval vessels are in the eastern Pacific at this time,” Elf Randi said. “We’ve got trackers out there in places that are under active weather alerts. We can wait a while for things to calm down.”

Sector 2 is also feeling the affects of severe weather. Extreme weather is upon Taipei right now that is affecting the build-out of the Regional Tracking Center there. Teams are hunkered down and construction activities have stopped for now due to safety concerns.

We do expect other regional tracking center opening announcements in the coming days.
