Next Version of Sleigh Named Daisy Ordered

Version #4 of Santa's Sleigh

Santa Claus today authorized a new build of the radical new sleigh design proposed for use this Christmas.

Sleigh designers and flight analysts have evaluated the flight performance of Clara after just 1 week in flight and already have modifications ready that would justify a new build.

That would make it Version #4 of the sleigh, code named Daisy.

Four sleigh modifications in nearly two months of test flights is not unusual for a new model like this.

It seems like a lot because the spotlight has been brightly lit on one underperforming characteristic of this sleigh design: a persistent lack of high speeds.

Santa has downplayed this problem, insisting that engineers are not evaluating the sleigh’s performance on the right priorities.

Disagreements do exist in the circle of elves most influential in the sleigh design process. Some of these disagreements date back to early winter when the new design was hotly debated in the first place.

Santa has been very hands-on, in the design process and now, in the test flight process as well. He moved his office to North Pole Flight Command weeks ago and has had a steady presence in nearly all operations related to the new sleigh.

We are reaching a critical point in the development of this radical new model.

Daisy is expected to be delivered for test flight duty in a little more than a week.

We will keep you informed.
