Regional Tracking Center Online in Sector 5

It may be deep into the night in Sector 5 but we are now able to announce that that Regional Tracking Center located in Barra de Navidad, Mexico is now operational.

It has been a long day for Elf Pinky and team. But they passed all the tests in the last several hours and Elf Pinky did not want to wait to make the announcement.

Sector 5 is now on the job.

Elf Pinky wanted to get this done because Elf Crash is coming with Santa some time this week to check out the RTCs in both Sectors 4 and 5.

By a fluke, the distance between the Regional Tracking Center in Sector 4 is only a couple of thousand miles from the RTC in Sector 5 in Mexico. A little long by car but just quick trip by sleigh.

Sector 5 is the third Regional Tracking Center to go live. We are just waiting now on Sectors 2 and 3 and we hear that both of them are very close.
