Sector 1 Regional Tracking Center Announced

Sector 1 Tracking Center

Sector 1 is the broad area of the world known as Oceania. It encompasses the island nations of the deep South Pacific, all of Australia, New Zealand and the countries of the Pacific Rim.

It is the first place where Christmas is celebrated and where Santa visits first each Christmas Eve.

North Pole Flight Command has determined that the Regional Tracking Center for Christmas 2023 will be located in Fiji.

Fiji is a small nation of more than 300 islands and is ideally located for a Regional Tracking Center in Sector 1. Nadi is the largest city but the actual selected location for North Pole operations in Fiji has not been revealed.

The tropical outpost will provide a warm-weather operational center for elves from North Pole Flight Command to direct activities before, during and after Santa’s flight all over Sector 1.

It is expected that the site selected will be operational and staffed by September 1st.

Thank you, Elf Meg Nogg! Congratulations to Fiji! I’ve been to New Caledonia, near Fiji, once, the ocean was beautiful and very clear, and people were so kind to me. I think Fiji is like that as well. I hope our supervisor and the staff will be great work there! Elf Meg Nogg, are you Elf Trixie’s upperclasswoman? Wonderful, 😆
