150 Days to Santa’s Launch
It is a milestone day in North Pole Flight Command as we have reached the 150-day mark until Santa’s launch.
There is some pressure being felt by flight engineers and sleigh designers at North Pole Flight Command because this marker means they need to be hitting certain benchmarks with the new sleigh design.
While 150 days is plenty of time to prove the flight worthiness of any sleigh there are worried individuals in Flight Command because things have gone so poorly since test flights began the first week of June.
“The issue is still speed,” said Elf Z, Associate Director of Santa Trackers and former flight analyst. “In talking with the experts the sleigh has not proven itself stable at high speeds, much less with a full load. The sleigh has to be able to work as sustained speeds at high altitudes if Santa is to meet his delivery targets. We haven’t met that threshold yet.”
Santa is aware of the sleigh’s performance and remains confident the issues can be resolved.
By the time we reach 100 days, if improvements are not met, some speculate conversations about returning to last year’s sleigh model might be the wiser course for this Christmas.
Stay tuned.
