Test Flights Head to Sector 5

Test Flights

The test flights of Santa’s sleigh are heading soon into Sector 5.

For the past several days the flights have been over Greenland and overall for more than a week they have traveled through Sector 4 north from South America.

Version #3, code named Clara, started her run this week and it is expected that this version will see the majority of her lifespan over the skies of Sector 5.

Flight planners indicate that several days will be spent in Canada, but where the test flights go after that has not yet been determined.

That is due in part to a pending flight schedule for Santa himself. He announced last week that he would need to log some hours on the new sleigh to keep up his certification. Working him in, even though there are 32 sleigh prototypes in test flight mode, is proving to be a challenge given his schedule. We hope to know in a few days after the details are worked out.

The test flights are trackable via the Santa Tracker in the North Pole Club at SantaUpdate.com or for tracker elves at SantaTrackers.net.

We will keep you updated.
