350 Days Until Launch
There remains just 350 days until Santa launches.
This is likely the most quiet milestone of the year. North Pole Flight Command is minimally staffed, there have been no discussions of plans for Santa’s sleigh this year, and flights in and out of the North Pole have been suspended at the Sleigh Port since Christmas.
But the milestone remains and it is getting attention.
Elf Roger Star, director of North Pole Flight Command, is starting meetings today, beginning with Santa.
It is their annual protocol to meet first to review Santa’s latest flight and all that occurred at Flight Command since last year.
From this meeting will come new ideas, new goals and new direction for Operation Merry Christmas 2024.
We will not have news to announce for some time, however. This first meeting will lead to other meetings that Elf Roger will need to have with all the Department heads at Flight Command. They will go back and forth before a new plan for the year is completely established.
Once that new plan comes together, Elf Roger will meet with Santa again to review it all and to obtain approval before moving forward.
This can all take several weeks.
Hopefully, it will all happen before the countdown clock marks our next milestone at 300 days to launch.
