Contracts Signed for New Regional Tracking Centers

Contracts for new regional tracking center locations have all been signed, it has been announced today by Elf Roger Star, Director of North Pole Flight Command.

A regional tracking center is set up in each of the five sectors – Oceania, Asia and the Middle East, Europe and Africa, Greenland and South America, North and Central America.

Scouts from the North Pole have been visiting potential sites around the world for this year’s locations. After months of visits, reports and review processes the choices were narrowed down in June to about three locations in each Sector.

Those choices were whittled down to one per sector after contract options we explored by the Regional Tracking Center Committee.

The work of that committee is now finished with the signed contracts. We are expecting announcements of the selected locations within the next few days to weeks.

Santa has directed that each regional location be operational by August 1st.
