Sector 3 Regional Tracking Center Location Announced

Sector 3 Regional Tracking Center

North Pole Flight Command announced to a cheering crowd of flight controllers the exciting news that Sector 3, serving Europe and Africa, will have a new regional tracking center located in Christmas Island, Zimbabwe opening soon.

Sector 3 Regional Tracking Center

This is just the 2nd time in history that a Regional Tracking Center has been located in Africa.

“We have a lot more southern and warm-weather locations hosting regional centers this year,” noted Elf Roger Star, Director of North Pole Flight Command. “We didn’t especially engineer it that way, its just the way it worked out.”

This is also the first time in history the name of each location is Christmas Island for each and every sector.

“Maybe we planned that a little,” said Elf Roger. “We thought it would be a cool thing to pull off and things aligned just right to make it happen.”

Elf Rolf and team are on their way to Zimbabwe now and North Pole construction crews should have the new location up and operational by July 22nd.

It appears that Santa’s goal of having an operational Regional Tracking Center in every Sector by August 1st is going to be easily met this year.

Thank you, Elf Meg! Yeah, that’s so cool about their choice! I’ve been to the country, but I didn’t know the place. I hope Elf Rolf will have a nice trip. The test flights are moving to Sector 3 from Sector 2, so they will soon be busy. Happy Christmas in July!
