Regional Tracking Centers Close
A successful run of Operation Merry Christmas as managed by North Pole Flight Command ends today with the closure of all Regional Tracking Centers.
The regional tracking centers located at Christmas Island, Tasmania, Australia in Sector 1, Christmas Island in Myanmar in Sector 2, Christmas Island in Africa for Sector 3, Christmas Island in Jamaica in Sector 4 and Christmas Island in Nova Scotia, Canada in Sector 5, have been ordered closed and their equipment sent home to the North Pole.
Elf personnel staffing these centers were sent home very late on Christmas Eve.
All records of Santa’s flight, of communications with various parties, including those from Santa trackers in each sector, have been sent to North Pole Flight Command for careful review. The Elf Supervisors will oversee an evaluation process of all records to determine new efficiencies for use in future flights Santa will take. Once the evaluation period concludes, all records will be sent to the North Pole Hall of Records.
There are many elements of the closure of Operation Merry Christmas yet to be addressed. Test flight pilots, elf personnel, and reindeer teams all await evaluation. Trackers also will be reviewed and training for the new season will be planned for.
There is likewise a process for evaluating the performance of each sleigh and improvements, changes, or remodels that need to take place for future missions.
A period of about four to six weeks is necessary for all these processes to complete before plans for the season ahead can begin.
We will keep you posted.
