Test Flights Headed to Sector 1 | North Pole Flight Command

Test flights of Santa’s sleigh will shift from Sector 2 to Sector 1 in the coming days.

It is expected that the Regional Tracking Center in Taiwan will get a fly-by before the flights head into Sector 1.

This will be the first time this year that the test flights have been to Sector 1. Normally Sector 1 gets extensive exposure to the test flights of Santa’s sleigh but the weather since June has been problematic enough that Flight Command has avoided the sector.

I have it on good authority that will change in the coming days and that a good deal of the South Pacific, including Australia and New Zealand, will see test flights in their skies.

Evidently, while there are still some weather concerns in the Pacific, the warm weather trials are considered critical to the development of the sleigh that flight controllers feel this is the best time to head to that part of the world.

So far, the test flights have spent extensive time in Sector 4 in the Atlantic, in the northern areas of Canada and Greenland, and recently over the skies of Asia in Sector 2.

Sector 1 is up next. Flight planners are debating on whether Sector 3 or Sector 5 will be planned for September. It all depends on what happens to the test flights with Eunice in the Pacific over the next few weeks.
