Sector 3 RTC Now Online | North Pole Flight Command

A short time ago the final tests were passed and we can confirm that the Regional Tracking Center for Sector 3 in Belgium is now online.

Things got off to a rocky start with the misplacement of several computers about three weeks ago. That little set-back resulted in several others that pushed the anticipated opening of the RTC beyond what was originally hoped.

Nevertheless, Sector 3 is now online and it’s still, officially, about six days before the deadline.

According to Elf Rolf, there are no needs from Flight Command expressed at this time and it appears even the test flights of Santa’s sleigh will be a while before they get to Europe and Africa.

About the only thing happening in Sector 3 is the repositioning of the North Pole Naval vessels assigned to the sector. They are heading, as a group, to the North Atlantic for unspecified reasons. They may relocate, we are told, toward the middle of the month of August.

Elf Rolf has stated that, like the other Elf Supervisors, he will withhold any direction until Elf Crash releases the unified reporting plan ahead of the August 1st deadline.

That means Sector 3 opens their Christmas campaign on “stand-by” status in the short term.
