Elves Working Overtime
The weather continues to make work at the North Pole challenging. Typically Sunday is an “off” day at the North Pole. While Santa’s workshop, the Post Office and the Wrapping Department are all dark there are plenty of elves putting in overtime at North Pole Flight Command.
The weather has not let up. Snow is still falling at a rate of more than 2 feet per hour with sustained winds topping out at 75mph.
That has keep snow removal crews hopping at the Sleigh Port, the Sleigh Barn, the Reindeer Barn and at the Field House at North Pole High School. Operation Airlift continues steadily but launch is slower than normal. North Pole Flight Command’s latest estimates is that Operation Airlift is better than 36 hours behind.
It is not known yet if that will affect the timing of Santa’s launch.
We will keep you posted.

Thank you, Elf Meg, to all the elves from the departments and the snow removal crews for their hard work. I pray the weather will calm down as soon as possible. The roads got ice, so I think they spread sand that helps stop slipping. I hope Santa’s launch and flight are okay with Operation Airlift. I believe they can solve them one by one and go on time. I feel sorry; I only pray for them that I can. But I want to continue to cheer them up! Merry Christmas! XD
