Nova Scotia to Be HQ for Sector 5

North Pole Flight Command is pleased to report that the city of Christmas Island, Nova Scotia will be home to Sector 5’s Regional Headquarters. Sector 5 covers Central and North America.

A regional tracking center is just an extension of North Pole Flight Command. It is staffed by professional elves and equipment with state-of-the-art tracking equipment that is specifically engineered to follow the path of Santa’s sleigh in the assigned region.

Christmas Island is a Canadian community of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. It has a post office, a firehall and a very small population.

“It’s a charming place,” said Flight Director Elf Buck Sanchez. “This is the smallest community where we have a regional HQ this year. That’s actually a challenge because in a small town it is hard to keep secret a place like a North Pole regional tracking center. We have worked hard with local authorities who are thrilled to have an official North Pole operation in town. We think it will work out.”

For the tracker elves that reside in Sector 5 we admonish that you keep an eye out for breaking news at SantaTrackers.net, coming very soon from Elf Pinky Yates, our Elf Supervisor for Sector 5.
