Santa Moves Office to Flight Command
Santa Claus has moved his entire office – and his office staff – to North Pole Flight Command.
As we have noted already several times the past few months Santa has been deeply invested in the new sleigh slated for use this Christmas. He has been involved in every step of the process from the design debate to the plans for test flights.
Santa’s presence in North Pole Flight Command is greater than the time he is spending in Santa’s Workshop.
The test flights of Santa’s sleigh are officially on track, however several flight engineers have publicly expressed frustration over the new sleigh’s performance. They say the sleigh is “slow”.
Santa refuses to talk to North Pole media about the sleigh project, declaring it highly speculative to say whether or not the sleigh is any good or that it might possibly fail. He just does not want to discuss it.
It is clear he is more hands on with this new sleigh than any previous design.
Elf Joel, a member of Santa’s office staff who keeps Santa’s calendar, says that Santa is adjusting his schedule from week-to-week. He says it is clear that Santa may be skipping some events at the North Pole for Christmas in July so that he can be even more involved with the test flights.
What he does not say is just what “more involved” means.
We remind you that Santa has never test piloted his sleighs himself. That is the work of test pilots and the Sleigh Department engineers.
Elf Joel says he feels important news about Santa’s sleigh will be coming forward shortly and it could mean a change to the pre-season routine fans of Santa have become accustomed to.
While the project of Santa’s sleigh this year looks different Joel says that Santa is very confident the new sleigh will work and that his deliveries this year will be better than ever.
